About the role

  • Take responsibility for welding supervision of in-house production and, as required, act as deputy on construction sites
  • Create and manage project-related welding documentation and records
  • Review technical drawings for welding feasibility
  • Coordinate and carry out welder and welding procedure qualifications
  • Support inspections and approvals with customers or third‑party inspectors
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage projects with a welding engineering focus
  • Perform ongoing quality checks of welding work

Requirements

  • University degree with additional qualification as a Welding Engineer (SFI/EWE)
  • Several years of professional experience in at least one of the following areas: steel construction, pressure vessel construction, or pipeline construction
  • Project experience in industrial companies, preferably in a Mittelstand (SME) environment
  • Knowledge of standards ISO 3834, AD 2000 and EN 1090
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities
