About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Next.js.
- Work within an Agile development team to estimate, implement, deploy sprint tasks created to implement the next generation of our core software product.
- Consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance application functionality.
- Utilize AWS cloud services for application deployment and management, specifically Elastic Containers (ECS), Lambdas, API Gateways, and Code Pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
- Collaborate directly with the Agile US development team and help grow the Lima development team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on frontend javascript development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as React, Next.js, Node, and C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with AWS services: Elastic Containers (ECS), Lambdas, API Gateways, and Code Pipelines.
- Experience working within an Agile development team.
- Ability to estimate, implement, and deploy sprint tasks.
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot software defects in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members in Lima and in the US.
- Must live in Lima, Peru and be able to come into our Lima office to work.
