About the role

  • Provide technical guidance and conduct research for software development projects
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and technical support staff
  • Capture market needs and define requirements, support product strategy
  • Review competitor products and gather competitive intelligence
  • Conduct research initiatives and prepare technical specifications and documentation
  • Assist in product branding, marketing, and conducting presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering from an accredited university
  • Registration in good standing as a PEng (Canada) or PE (US)
  • 10+ years of relevant and progressive experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering
  • Experience with traffic signal timing, capacity and safety analysis, and traffic modeling
  • Proficient in engineering design including geometric design of roadways and highways
  • Strong working understanding of traffic engineering fundamentals and analysis tools like Synchro/SimTraffic
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation
