About the role
- Technical Lead for a development team delivering scalable applications using .NET Core and Angular. Lead technical decisions and mentor junior developers while collaborating with business teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in designing, coding, testing, and deploying web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and architects to understand requirements and design solutions.
- Drive technical decision-making, enforce coding best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and guide junior developers.
- Design and implement scalable APIs, microservices, and RESTful services.
- Work closely with DevOps to ensure CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and application monitoring.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience in: .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (Web API, Entity Framework Core).
- Angular (v10 or later), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
- RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) – preferably Azure.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Good to Have: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Knowledge of message queues/event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, Jasmine, Karma).
- Exposure to front-end state management libraries (NgRx, Redux).
