About the role
- Technical Account Executive managing client projects and configurations for robotic solutions at Clearpath Robotics. Collaborating with engineers and executing technical sales for innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
- Review client projects and applications, and help with the scoping & configuration of application-appropriate robotic solutions for customers, independently and in collaboration with our team of Engineers
- Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating product features and software
- Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
- Provide company, product, and technical overview presentations
- Provide pre-sales quotes to customers
- Check purchase orders for accuracy against the quote or standards before processing
- Provide technical assistance to the customers - answering technical queries and performing research when answers are not immediately available
- Execute outreach campaigns and secure net new business
- Promote and sell Clearpath as a full-service robotic solutions provider
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of new technology and our solution offerings
- Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
- The ability to travel upto 25% of the time including international travel.
- University degree in a STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience in a variety of technical roles including Applications Engineering, Project/Program Management and Technical Sales
- Experience with CRM products such as Salesforce.com
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations to prospects, customers, and partners.
