About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead a production planning team
- Describe work steps, sequences, and tooling requirements
- Document manufacturing processes, including machine setup data
- Create and maintain work plans and material master data in SAP
- Review and optimize technical documentation for practical feasibility
- Assess manufacturability and define production processes
- Plan types and quantities of complex equipment with multiple functions/processing stages
- Initiate production and procurement, coordinate constructive design adjustments
- Develop capacity and utilization plans
- Prepare scheduling plans (in-house and external production) and perform target/actual comparisons
- Design and contribute to quality-assurance measures
- Independently carry out new planning considering new or modified processes based on ergonomics and business considerations, possibly involving other company departments
- Investment planning and ROI forecasting
- Conduct value stream analyses
- Monitor and optimize the efficiency of machines and systems, including related investment estimates
- Lead the team both technically and disciplinarily — from resource planning to employee development
- Independently and continuously optimize and further develop your area of responsibility and associated processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field, or equivalent qualification
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in project management, Continuous Improvement Process (CIP), and shop floor management
- Experience in industrializing new products and processes
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Proficient user of MS Office applications
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal processing
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, Lean, Kaizen, Methods-Time Measurement (MTM), and 5S
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, combined with a high degree of authenticity, integrity, and emotional intelligence
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, goal-oriented, and resilient working style, complemented by flexibility, commitment, and strong organizational abilities
