About the role
- Lead the frontend team: plan and prioritize tasks, distribute workload, and support complex technical problem-solving
- Design architectural solutions and contribute to the development of key application components
- Participate in and enhance the code review process, maintaining high standards of code quality and development practices
- Mentor team members: conduct regular 1:1s, support professional growth and foster a collaborative engineering culture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, product, design) to align goals and deliver cohesive product experiences
- Drive technical direction and oversee product development for TradingView's frontend
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience with frontend technologies
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
- Proven track record in leading development teams (3+ members)
- Experience designing the architecture of complex applications
- Solid understanding of how browsers work and how to optimize performance
- Proficiency in software testing principles (unit, integration, E2E) and practical experience with test frameworks
- Familiarity with REST API and RxJS
- Experience with Jest
- English level B2+ (nice to have)
- Experience working with HTML5 Canvas (nice to have)
- Interest or background in financial markets or trading (nice to have)
