About the role
- Systems Engineer specializing in electro-optical navigation systems within aerospace. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions in high-tech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Requirements analysis: Derive electro‑optical requirements from navigation specifications and produce technical system requirements.
- System analysis: Assess and evaluate secondary functions of electro‑optical equipment on the aircraft.
- Documentation & coordination: Prepare technical documentation, coordinate with the Chief Engineer and specialist departments, and apply MBSE methods (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody).
- Integration: Support the technical implementation of EW systems and the integration of electro‑optical components into existing system architectures.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in sensors or electro‑optical systems.
- Experience in deriving technical requirements, particularly translating navigation requirements into electro‑optical specifications.
- Knowledge of system architecture, specification, and integration of EW components, as well as MBSE tools such as Cameo or Rhapsody.
- Very good German and English language skills.
