About the role

  • Summer Intern role in Fire Engineering at RLB involves hands-on experience and team collaboration. Gain insight into fire safety within the built environment in a supportive setting.

Responsibilities

  • Learning from Experienced Professionals: You’ll work alongside engineers and consultants, observing and supporting their work on real projects.
  • Supporting Project Work: You may help with tasks such as reviewing building plans, preparing documents, or gathering information needed for fire safety assessments.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Expect to work closely with other interns, engineers, and consultants.
  • Developing Technical and Interpersonal Skills: You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, seek feedback, and take on new challenges.

Requirements

  • Studying a degree in Fire Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • A genuine interest in how fire safety shapes the built environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for learning and making a difference.
