About the role

  • Closely collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to create modern design solutions
  • Parametric transfer of design concepts into CATIA V5 STRAK/Class A surface modelling
  • Support the design and development process with high-quality surface modelling
  • Creation of complex free-form surfaces considering plastic injection molding and steel forming
  • Ensuring manufacturability of surfaces
  • Integration within the product design team

Requirements

  • Educational background in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Design, or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in complex free-form surface modelling
  • Professional background in Class A surface modelling (STRAK) in the automotive or consumer goods industries
  • Excellent in CATIA V5, including the GSD2 license, as well as ICEM Sur, or experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX
  • Skilled in implementing design intent with high surface quality
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing requirements and familiarity with standard manufacturing processes
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is an advantage
