About the role

  • Perform accounting activities and support the preparation of divisional financial reports
  • Responsible for maintenance of the organization’s general ledger, preparation of financial reports, transaction processing, account reconciliations
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data and support the production of financial statements
  • Support company Controller in preparation of account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Prepare documentation for company’s annual audits, sales tax, property tax and income tax returns
  • Maintain fixed asset listings and post depreciation
  • Other duties as assigned by company Controllers and Finance Management Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of related experience, preferably in private company manufacturing environments
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build professional relationships with members and cross functional teams
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite of products
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and balance priorities
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and pride in delivering quality results
  • High level knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and cost accounting
  • Proven ability to effectively navigate various accounting and reporting software platforms
