About the role

Responsibilities
- Perform accounting activities and support the preparation of divisional financial reports
- Responsible for maintenance of the organization’s general ledger, preparation of financial reports, transaction processing, account reconciliations
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and support the production of financial statements
- Support company Controller in preparation of account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements
- Prepare documentation for company’s annual audits, sales tax, property tax and income tax returns
- Maintain fixed asset listings and post depreciation
- Other duties as assigned by company Controllers and Finance Management Team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of related experience, preferably in private company manufacturing environments
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build professional relationships with members and cross functional teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite of products
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and balance priorities
- Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and pride in delivering quality results
- High level knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and cost accounting
- Proven ability to effectively navigate various accounting and reporting software platforms
