About the role
- Software Test Engineer ensuring quality and reliability of software products before release. Identifying bugs and verifying functionality for the Warehouse Management System.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete for WMS features
- Conduct API testing using Postman to verify integrations, data flows, and system endpoints
- Perform manual functional testing on Warehouse Management System (WMS) to validate system functionality and performance
- Create comprehensive test cases, test plans, and scripts based on business and technical requirements
- Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear documentation
- Collaborate with developers and business to clarify requirements and resolve issues
- Execute regression testing to ensure new updates do not disrupt existing WMS functionality
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure data integrity and system accuracy through database validation
- Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Requirements
- BSC (IT) or equivalent degree / diploma
- 3 - 5 Years of proven experience in Automation Testing
- Proven experience in developing automated test scripts using TestComplete or similar
- Demonstrated experience in API testing with Postman, including RESTful services
- Background in documenting and tracking defects using tools like Azure Test Plans or similar
- Exposure to validating database-driven applications using SQL queries
- Create and manage test plans (manual and automated test cases)
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software
