About the role

• Software Test Engineer in Agile development team responsible for software quality and testing automation for SaaS products. Involved in the Software Development Lifecycle ensuring minimal defects and adherence to project goals.

Responsibilities

• Design & execute test cases and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and user requirements.
• Identify, track, and report defects and issues found during testing from not only a testing point of view but also a customer point of view.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure that software products are tested thoroughly and meet project goals.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure that testing activities are properly scoped and resourced.
• Develop & maintain the test scripts, test data in line with defined test process and SDLC.
• Develop, execute & maintain the test automation scripts using the pre-defined test automation framework and sustain desired level of automation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline testing processes and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Guided by team members, able to comprehend simple requirements and contributes towards preparing test datasets, writing and execution of the test cases.
• Participates in team activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
• Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development

Requirements

• 2+ years professional software testing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team to deliver and maintain high-quality web-based software solutions.
• Experience of automation scripting skills in Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools including different types of testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English both written and verbal.
• Willing to teach and be teachable up and down the line.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve project objectives.
