About the role
- Ship fast and build delightful products focused on reducing carbon emissions
- Build the software infrastructure for a decarbonised energy system
- Develop systems to move energy usage to times when electricity is cheap and green
- Control vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries
- Use machine learning to predict energy demand and timing
- Operate and scale control of tens of thousands of energy assets
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers
- Prototype in Figma, package in Docker, and deploy on GCP
- Take ownership of features from design through production
- Participate in a small, fast-growing team shaping energy market products
