About the role
- Effectively develops code and software as per specifications.
- Tests software that has been created or modified and documents changes to software.
- Troubleshoots and debugs software.
- Consistently and effectively updates ALM tool (Jira) with appropriate comments to track progress of work.
- Breaks down work into estimable pieces and delivers accurate and consistent difficulty estimates.
- Understands and applies abstract concepts, recognizes subtle interrelations, handles complexity, and is able to respond to questions quickly (mental ability and perceptiveness).
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Systems
- Ability to work up to 16 hours per week
- Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively and effectively both verbally and written
- Good organizational skills
- Experience with development
- Ability to update ALM tool (Jira) with appropriate comments to track progress of work
- Ability to break down work into estimable pieces and deliver accurate and consistent difficulty estimates
