- Front End Engineer developing Angular applications at Equifax, a data and analytics company. Designing front-end architecture and collaborating with a distributed team on modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the front-end architecture using Angular and TypeScript, ensuring scalability, modularity, and adherence to modern best practices
- Leverage advanced Angular features, components, and state management techniques to deliver exceptional user experiences for our next-generation enterprise application
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
- Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
- Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset
- Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality
- Participate in a tight-knit, globally distributed engineering team
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on network, or service operations and quality
- Manage sole project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Equifax Solutions
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information
- Actively participate in Sprint planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and other team activity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of front-end software engineering experience
- Expertise in Angular, with a strong background in UI development using HTML, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
- 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code concepts, and tools like Helm Charts and Terraform
