About the role
- Software Engineer responsible for building and maintaining integrations between Cloudflare and various SaaS applications. Collaborating with teams to ensure effective and secure data flow.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integration workflows between Cloudflare and various SaaS applications
- Take work from concept through implementation, including gathering requirements, writing technical specifications, development, testing, and deployment
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure integrations meet business needs and are built following engineering best practices
- Lead larger initiatives and own projects from end to end as you grow in the role
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
- Experience working with internal stakeholders to solve business problems through integration solutions
- Proficiency in Golang
- Experience building RESTful APIs with proper service security practices
- Experience working with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or Kibana
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD tools
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation with 10+ engineers
- Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle or NetSuite (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with integration patterns such as pub/sub, CDM (Common Data Model), and batch processing (Nice to Have)
- Experience working with PostgreSQL (Nice to Have)
- Experience with Cloudflare Developer’s Platform (Nice to Have)
