Optimize cloud services for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
Develop and maintain APIs for device communication and data exchange.
Ensure data security and privacy by implementing best practices and compliance standards.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and IoT.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
15+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud services and IoT
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud (preferred), AWS, Azure
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java (required), Python, or Go
Experience with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and edge computing
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, monitoring)
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
This role is a remote role available in California, Massachusetts, Georgia, and Utah. Ability to work onsite in Los Altos CA several times per month is preferred
