About the role
- Software Developer customizing and supporting Concord’s new platform through JavaScript script development. Involved in client migrations, testing scripts, and resolving technical issues during cutovers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript to support new client migrations
- Test scripts rigorously to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements
- Review and debug scripts to resolve issues identified during cutover and post-go-live support phases
- Troubleshoot and optimize code for efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to recommend enhancements that can become native platform functionality, reducing the need for client-specific customizations
- Maintain clear documentation of scripts, test results, and resolutions
- Work with other department teams to understand client needs and requirements
- Translate gathered requirements into actionable technical deliverables
- Communicate technical progress, challenges, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proficiency with JavaScript (required)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with APIs, data feeds, or integration scripting
- Experience with Svelte 5 preferred
- Experience with .NET platform a plus
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
