About the role
- Lead design, implementation, and operational support of next-generation technical infrastructure for Broadridge’s strategic applications and services
- Design, build, and support robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements
- Automate operational processes and deployment pipelines using tools like Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, and AWS
- Monitor and maintain service health using SLOs, metrics, and SLIs; ensure continuous improvement and rapid incident response
- Collaborate with application development, security, database, architecture, and vendor stakeholders to define and review infrastructure designs
- Lead troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to resolve production issues and ensure capacity, scaling, security, and uptime
- Participate in technical design sessions translating business requirements into detailed, actionable technical designs prioritizing automation, performance, and cost optimization
- Guide, mentor, and support junior associates to ensure high-quality results and foster shared learning
Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience with commercial service infrastructure at both a software and infrastructure level
- Hands-on experience with common AWS services (required)
- Azure experience a plus
- Strong understanding of system design and architecture, DevOps principles, service monitoring, troubleshooting, and deployment automation
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, Python, Shell, or Perl
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Proficiency with full-stack development tools and technologies
- Excellent collaboration, analytical, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure, rapidly changing environments
- Preferred: 5–7+ years of programming and application systems experience, cloud and microservices architecture, knowledge of next-generation design patterns and cloud-native architectures
