About the role
- Senior Staff Test Development Engineer developing production test programs for integrated circuits. Ensuring quality for automotive market while leading engineering teams and mentoring younger engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop production test programs for integrated circuits
- Ensure high quality for the automotive market and optimize test costs
- Lead small engineering teams
- Actively share knowledge across the organization
- Develop test concepts
- Contribute to strategic topics in test development
- Mentor junior engineers
- Use presentation skills actively and moderate internal workshops and lectures
Requirements
- Completed university or technical college degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science
- More than 8 years of experience in microelectronics development at a semiconductor company (preferably in test development)
- Experience in the technical management of small engineering teams
- Deep knowledge of programming ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) for testing microelectronic circuits, ideally on Advantest T2000
- Very good programming skills in C, C++ and scripting languages
- Confident handling of measurement instruments (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope)
- Very good knowledge of circuit design and PCB layout
- Good knowledge of statistics
- Very proficient with MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good written and spoken English
- Team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
