About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing impactful products within Bankwest's Payments crew. Contributing to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of payment solutions.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- full-cycle engineering experience: ideation, technical design, build, testing (unit, integration, system), release, and ongoing maintenance
- actively embraces and integrates AI-driven solutions (including LLMs and agentic AI approaches)
- state-of-the-art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks
- actively involved in continuous learning, experimentation and innovation
- coaching junior engineers, sharing knowledge to uplift and improve software development practices
- strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives
- experimental and E2E ownership mindset, deliver with minimum supervision
- expertise with technologies such as .NET Core, C#, Angular
- hands-on experience with Microservices, Restful API design pattern
- working knowledge of mobile development - Android / iOS
- good understanding of application and system security best practices like OWASP
- knowledge of modern Cloud technology stacks
- familiar with DevSecOps practices and tooling - GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Jira, Snyk, AppDynamics, Confluence, Cucumber, ServiceNow.
