About the role
- Design, develop, and deliver complex software solutions forming the foundation of the banking platform
- Develop and maintain critical platform features
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives and provide support to the engineering team
- Develop and drive architectural changes across projects while leading engineers
- Improve tooling to enable data-driven analysis and reporting to the wider Constantinople team
- Support a secure and functional platform
- Provide decisions on service performance and design implementation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to build software prioritising reliability, scalability, and security
Requirements
- Have a deep understanding of the SDLC
- Experienced TypeScript developer
- Experience developing sophisticated code in backend development
- Experience with building and managing large-scale features across multiple teams
- Strong teamwork skills that foster productive relationships
- Write clean, maintainable code and ensure code reviews and best practices are followed
- Experience in serverless patterns on AWS / GCP would be an advantage
- Familiarity with Temporal for durable workflow execution
- Familiarity with AWS/sst
- Familiarity with Playwright & Storybook for UI and components testing and Vitest for unit testing
