About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing systems for healthcare platform with CTO oversight. Leading DevOps practices and mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with our CTO and our engineering team to develop systems that power our platform in hospitals and allow us to continuously ship great features.
- Lead and infrastructure work, helping us to scale reliably across cloud and hybrid deployments
- Streamline our CI/CD pipeline and containerization setup along DevOps best practices
- Drive the implementation of security and data protection measures
- Support the engineering team to continuously improve our development environment, tools and automation
Requirements
- 5+ years experience owning end-to-end DevOps lifecycle
- Significant DevOps experience: dockerization, IaC (e.g. Terraform or Pulumi), CI/CD, observability & monitoring
- Deep understanding of hybrid deployments (cloud & on-premise)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
- Familiarity with medical software or healthcare data standards (e.g. FHIR)
- Already residing in Berlin (or within daily commuting distance) and authorised to work in Germany.
