About the role
- Architect, design, and implement innovative, high-performance endpoint software that integrates with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux systems.
- Optimize endpoint software for peak performance and minimal resource consumption, ensuring system efficiency.
- Build and maintain robust cross-platform libraries supporting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux.
- Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions to enhance endpoint capabilities and manage cloud integration efficiently.
- Drive technical initiatives within a distributed, agile software development team.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, cloud engineers, and product managers, to deliver comprehensive security solutions.
- Participate in product strategy, design, and implementation for the Secure Access product with a zero shared secrets architecture.
- Work under the leadership of the Engineering Manager based in Poland and deliver on timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Warsaw office to foster collaboration and team synergy.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on system-level programming and endpoint development.
- Proficiency in multiple relevant languages such as Rust, Swift, C++, C#, Go, Java, or Kotlin.
- Deep knowledge of internals for at least one major operating system (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, or Linux), with a willingness and eagerness to learn and become an expert in others.
- Proven ability to design and implement high-performance, resource-efficient code for endpoint software.
- Strong system-level thinking, with the ability to see the big picture and work across multiple domains.
- Experience with building and maintaining cross-platform libraries is highly desirable.
- A strong emphasis on test automation and test-driven development.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup, is a plus.
- Bonus: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud services.
- Bonus: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices, with a background in security software or threat detection.
- Bonus: Good understanding of modern CI/CD tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Bonus: Experience with authentication protocols and standards (including OIDC, SAML, OAuth2.0, and others like SCIM, ADFS, WSFED, LDAP).
- Bonus: Experience with Trusted Platform Module (TPM) or Apple's Secure Enclave.
- Bonus: An understanding of asymmetric cryptography.
