About the role
- Take ownership of an existing codebase and continuously improve it
- Plan, develop, and maintain new features and functionalities for mobile applications as part of an international implementation team
- Optimize the performance and responsiveness of the React Native app across iOS and Android platforms
- Work on the architecture of the mobile app, introducing new tools and frameworks to improve scalability and maintainability
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve bugs and issues reported by users or the support team
- Deploy and maintain the app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines
Requirements
- 5 years of professional / hands-on development experience (specific experience in B2B, SaaS and fleet management are a strong plus)
- 3+ years mobile experience (React Native) and experience with the Expo framework
- Experience in building a new mobile app from scratch (or relaunching)
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience in tech stack: NodeJS, Express (moving to NestJS), TypeScript/JavaScript, MongoDB, AWS, React/Redux, Cypress/Jest, Blueprint (UI Library)
- Must live in (the vicinity of) Munich
