About the role
- Senior React Native Developer developing mobile and TV applications for JustWatch. Collaborating with design and product teams to enhance user engagement and experience across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our Designer and SVP Platforms to build engaging features and views that attract and retain users across mobile and TV platforms.
- Implement and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses and roll out successful experiments.
- Enhance performance, reliability, and accessibility across mobile and TV devices at scale.
- Build internal tools to help us monitor and optimize a multi-million user app ecosystem.
- Ensure seamless experiences across multiple platforms and screen sizes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with significant React Native experience.
- Experience developing TV applications.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Ideally, some experience with UI/UX design (using tools like Figma).
- Strong attention to detail and intrinsic motivation.
- Passion and ambition — big plus if you own a hobby project (blog, affiliate site, app, etc.).
- You thrive in a challenging yet rewarding environment with open feedback and autonomy.
- Fluency in English.
