About the role

  • Responsible for assisting the OIS management and customer organizations with collection and analysis of business requirements and resources for the purpose of defining the strategic business and technical direction.
  • Analyze business requirements and needs by meeting with customers, customer liaisons, and other project teams to create the best possible business solutions.
  • Synthesize new ways of performing business processes based on large amounts of complex and diverse business and technical needs and requirements.
  • Translate customer requirements into general and detailed specifications.
  • Review and approve all design deliverables including logical data models for conformance to overall strategic plan and physical design standards.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of information systems experience in developing and executing test plans for modified or configured application software OR
  • An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field. AND four (4) years of information systems experience in developing and executing test plans for modified or configured application software OR
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in developing and executing test plans for modified or configured application software OR
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
  • Must have the Ability to be cleared by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Oregon State Police through a fingerprint-based criminal background check for access to criminal justice information (CJI).
  • Must be able to pass CJIS training and testing to CJIS Level 4 rating.
