About the role
- Senior QA Automation Engineer developing automation solutions for Honda's mobile applications. Collaborating with product teams to uphold high standards with electric vehicle innovations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the app being built and determine the best automation approach.
- Create new test cases to ensure mobile app quality meets Honda's high standards.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the Honda organization.
- Provide mobile app automation solutions on both iOS and Android, across APIs, and automotive hardware.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of Automation QA Engineer experience designing and executing test cases.
- Mobile UI automation experience on iOS and Android.
- Able to understand and analyze technical documentation.
- Able to understand API specifications and configure standard tooling (Postman, etc.) to test against them.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- Device farm automation experience (Nice to Have).
- Some embedded systems knowledge/experience (Nice to Have).
- CI/CD experience (Nice to Have).
- Agile experience (Nice to Have).
- Bluetooth testing experience (Nice to Have).
- Automotive testing experience such as Controller Area Network (CAN), LIN and Ethernet (Nice to Have).
- Huge plus if you speak Japanese (Nice to Have).
- ISTQB or equivalent certificate (Nice to Have).
