Responsibilities
- Manages waste water, water treatment, and streetscape construction projects from inception to completion
- Provides and drives the project vision established in collaboration with the client
- Oversees construction projects from start to finish by developing a master project schedule
- Identifies scope of work and performs quantity takeoffs from engineering plans
- Continuously monitors project(s) to assure company and regulatory procedures are adhered to
- Responsible for controlling and tracking costs and maintaining profitability for the project(s)
Requirements
- B.S. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- 8+ years of experience working for a similarly positioned contractor as a Project Manager
- Project size ranges from $5 million to $20 million
- Previous experience working as a Foreman or Superintendent on similar projects a plus
- Estimating experience, a strong plus
- Proven ability to create and manage budget
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail oriented
- Proficient in technology (MS Office Suite, Primavera, AutoCAD, Vista)
