About the role

Senior Product Designer leading design for Depop’s Android app. Creating best-in-class experiences for buyers and sellers with a focus on mobile-first challenges.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design for the Android app – exploring, prototyping, and delivering solutions from concepts to polished UI.
Balance multiple projects, ensuring strong execution while tying your work to broader product strategy.
Partner with product, engineering, and research to shape priorities, align stakeholders, and drive a clear vision for Android experiences.
Champion seller needs while balancing Depop’s goals — using data and market insight to identify opportunities, test solutions, and deliver impact.
Share knowledge of mobile best practices, mentor peers, and contribute to a positive, collaborative design culture.
Apply strong craft and a deep understanding of Android design patterns, raising the quality and consistency of Depop’s mobile experience.

Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX and UI design across mobile, with significant Android work.
Experience leading end-to-end product design processes, from research synthesis to prototyping and delivery
Skilled in Figma and proficient with prototyping tools
Strong understanding of Android UI patterns, Material Design, and platform-specific nuances.
Ability to translate research and insights into clear, compelling design decisions.
Confident in presenting work and influencing stakeholders with compelling but structured, evidence-based arguments.
(Nice to have) Experience designing for both Android and iOS, with a strong grasp of cross-platform consistency.
(Nice to have) Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace products.
