Senior Platform Engineer at Plenti responsible for enhancing internal development platform and driving engineering velocity.
About the role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable platform solutions
- Take ownership of core platform components using Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-native tools
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Atlantis, ClusterAPI, and Crossplane
- Define and operate the foundation of cloud platforms and deliver resilient container runtime environments
- Support engineering growth and drive best practices across the organisation
- Work in a distributed, collaborative Platform Engineering team (CPR) and coordinate with team lead and platform lead
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container technologies
- Familiar with modern cloud-native platform engineering practices
- Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Atlantis
- Experience with ClusterAPI, Crossplane, or similar provisioning tools
- Experience with Docker and container runtimes
- Experience extending Backstage or developing custom platform solutions
- Communicate clearly and work well with cross-functional teams
- Motivated to support and develop engineers at different experience levels
