- Senior Project Manager overseeing various aspects of datacentre projects at Equinix. Ensuring project quality and safety while managing a team of Construction Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Provides guidance to Construction Project Managers who are driving the delivery to day-to-day Construction projects
- Sets goals for immediate team members
- Manages one or more construction projects at a time
- Leads by example on safety, standards, and culture
- Manages and monitors project progress, quality, and compliance with building regulations
- Ensuring projects are meeting or exceeding company expectations
- Overview and management of project risk registers
- Directs external vendors per project comprising general contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipment suppliers, etc.
- Contributes to establishing and maintaining high value relationships
- Supports in identifying and developing training programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction, construction project management, and/or engineering
- Proven experience in project and construction management that will include critical Infrastructure for Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Bio-tech, or similar environments
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Customer focused, self-motivated, and flexible
- In-depth knowledge of relevant statutory regulations and industry best practices
- Experience in construction procurement methodologies
- Experience in the adoption of off-site manufacturing methods in construction
- Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, Excel, and Visio
- English language is a must
