About the role

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Develop and implement AI models, machine learning algorithms, Gen AI applications to solve business problems.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop processes and tools to finetune, evaluate, monitor, and analyze model performance and accuracy.
  • Use software design principles and AI Copilot/AI builders to develop production ready code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate model.
  • Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Gen AI, data science and machine learning techniques.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ML algorithms and techniques: supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning.
  • Deep knowledge in NLP, Computer Vision, and GenAI, including architectures like Transformers, BERT, GPT, etc.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.
  • Must be an expert in writing ML code.
  • Working experience with full-stack web development (using either Python backend + React frontend or AI builders like lovable.dev and builder.io).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and Spark.
  • Can build vector DB.
  • Hands-on experience in state-of-the-art ML and DL as applied to large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries (PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NLTK, llama-index, Langchain, Lang Graph).
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques.
  • Strong Math background.
  • Solid understanding of feature engineering, model evaluation techniques, vector DB, Agentic and RAG applications.
  • Working experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS).
  • Working experience with deploying, monitoring, finetuning LLM/VLM models and building AI agents.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field).
  • Proven experience as a GenAI Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
