About the role

• Fullstack Engineer designing and developing payment solutions for enterprises at Payrails. Contributing to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain fullstack software in a thriving, fast-paced environment
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables while collaborating with a team that values knowledge sharing and cross-functional learning
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in frontend and backend technologies, ensuring the stack remains modern and effective
• Work within your cross-functional team to uphold the highest technical standards across the entire product, from user-facing components to backend systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, preferably in a growth-focused or product-driven environment
• Proficient in TypeScript, with deep experience in Angular and Angular Material (or similar modern frontend frameworks)
• Strong backend development skills, including building and maintaining APIs as well as working with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Solid understanding of A/B testing methodologies and experiment-driven development
• Comfortable optimizing queries, managing APIs, and handling performance issues at scale across both frontend and backend systems
• Proven track record of owning and delivering solutions end-to-end, from UI design through backend integration
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical teams
