About the role

• Contract Senior Full-Stack Developer designing and maintaining web applications at Datacom. Specializing in .NET and React in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement both front-end and back-end components of web applications, focusing on the .NET and React stacks.
• Demonstrate proficiency with the .NET technology stack, .NET Core & C#, and related services to build back-end systems and APIs.
• Develop user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS focusing on user experience.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with third-party services.
• Design and manage relational databases like SQL Server and write efficient SQL queries. Experience with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework is a plus.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS). Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share best practices. You may also mentor junior developers.
• Work within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with the .NET technology stack.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing with React.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
• Familiar with the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, and C# language features.
• Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including performance tuning for database interactions.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and a solid understanding of TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of core React concepts, including components, hooks, and an understanding of state management using a library like Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
• Experience with modern front-end build pipelines and using component libraries (e.g., Material-UI, Ant Design) to build consistent, user-friendly interfaces.
• Knowledge of front-end performance best practices, including techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and memoization.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in database design and management (e.g., SQL Server).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
