About the role
- Build mobile and web applications that enable employees to access earned wages, save, and improve financial literacy
- Architect scalable, high-performance, testable, and maintainable frontend systems
- Build high-quality React Native and React applications using TypeScript
- Mentor and lead other engineers and influence cross-team technical change
- Lead frontend technical discussions and decisions and document plans
- Deliver robust, enterprise-level frontend solutions and stay current with framework and tooling trends
Requirements
- Experience architecting scalable applications
- Multiple years of professional software development experience
- Deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience building high-quality React and React Native applications using TypeScript
- Skilled with React (including Hooks, Context API, and modern best practices)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility guidelines
- Ability to architect scalable, high-performance, testable, and maintainable frontend systems, emphasizing modularity and reusability
- Proven ability to lead frontend technical discussions and decisions
- Experience mentoring others and leading change across teams
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) is a plus
- Passion for staying current with mobile and web framework trends and tooling
- Willingness to be located in or relocate to Belfast, Northern Ireland (hybrid role)
- Work authorization to work in the United Kingdom or willingness to obtain visa sponsorship (application form queries authorization and sponsorship)
