Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical development and optimization of Deutsche Bahn AG's digital customer interfaces
- Take responsibility for the delivery pipeline, perform code reviews and refactorings, and manage regular deployments via CI/CD
- Prepare functional requirements in a structured way and identify and assess potential risks
- Maintain an overview of the entire software development lifecycle
- Integrate measures to improve software efficiency
- Ensure compliance with development standards and incorporate efficient solutions
- Conduct analyses and provide informed assessments of current trends to further develop business processes
Requirements
- Several years of experience (3+) in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban) with a frontend focus
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React
- Confident work in middleware with Node.js, ideally using TypeScript
- Familiarity with Git, GitLab CI, container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), HTTP, REST, OpenAPI, data formats/structures (JSON), and databases (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of architectural principles and design patterns in the context of frontend projects
- Interest in modern test automation
- Ideally experience implementing security measures (e.g., threat modeling, secure development lifecycle, OWASP Top 10)
- Fluent German and good written and spoken English
