About the role
- Senior Analyst at AVITA responsible for analyzing financial statements and liquidity indicators. Collaborating with underwriters and creating technical reports in a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive analysis of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement) and indicators of liquidity, leverage, and profitability.
- Prepare technical reports with concise, objective insights.
- Support the Onboarding and Relationship teams in interpreting financial statements and preparing credit justifications for insurers.
- Work in partnership with insurers, responding to inquiries with data and technical clarity.
- Stay up to date on credit analysis criteria and pricing methodologies in the surety insurance market.
- Contribute to the team's technical development by delivering training and sharing best practices.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields;
- Strong command of financial statement analysis and financial ratios;
- Solid knowledge of surety insurance and insurers' credit limit assessment criteria (preferred);
- Ability to prepare technical opinions and financial reports;
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI);
- Working knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards (CPCs) and financial statement structuring;
- Knowledge of financial analysis automation (AI, scripting, etc.) is a plus;
- Critical, inquisitive thinking grounded in technical knowledge;
- Clear communication, especially when explaining complex analyses;
- Systemic thinking, connecting financial data to the strategic context of both the client and the insurer;
- Consultative, solution-oriented approach.
