Senior Facility Security Officer overseeing compliance with NISPOM for cleared facilities. Managing personnel security actions and ensuring safeguarding of classified information in a DoD environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the appointed FSO for a cleared facility under DCSA oversight, ensuring compliance with NISPOM and all applicable contract security requirements.
Maintain the company's Facility Clearance Level (FCL) in good standing by ensuring compliance with all DCSA requirements.
Manage all personnel security actions using DISS and NBIS, including initiation of investigations, clearance maintenance, visit requests, and adverse information reporting.
Coordinate initial and annual security briefings, foreign travel reporting, and other SEAD 3 reporting under the NISP.
Lead and/or support self-inspections, DCSA Security Reviews, and timely resolution of any findings or vulnerabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of direct industrial security experience.
At least 3 years of experience as an FSO for a DCSA-possessing facility.
Active Top Secret clearance required.
Strong understanding of NISPOM, DCSA guidance, DD254s, and sponsor requirements.
Proficiency with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, NISS, e-QIP, eFCL and experience coordinating with DCSA and government sponsors.
Experience managing classified information, personnel clearances, and physical security requirements under NISP.
Demonstrated success maintaining an FCL in good standing and managing multiple classified contracts.
Experience representing a cleared organization during DCSA reviews, inspections, and audits without supervision.
