About the role

  • Perform engineering releases for small to medium projects, focusing on mechanical composition and development, as well as labeling, documentation, and product updates
  • Apply new technical tools and concepts with support from other team members
  • Implement build changes for mechanical components
  • Generate feasibility assessments, product risk documentation, DFMEA, engineering requirements, and cost estimates
  • Lead cross-functional project planning sessions to develop schedules using project management tools, collaborating with various team members to successfully implement engineering compositions
  • Manage multiple small projects simultaneously through the execution of project plans
  • Collaborate daily with engineers, technicians, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, supply management, and marketing personnel to achieve flawless results
  • Support customer requests by working with our sales team or directly with customers
  • Share technical knowledge and mentor others on the team
  • Challenge project teams and established work processes to proactively find creative methods to reach desired performance levels
  • Proactively inform others about developments or issues affecting their work and commitments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree from an accredited college/university, or relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of mechanical build engineering experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with teammates in a team setting
  • Experience with 6S and systems implementation
