About the role
- Design, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions).
- Configure and optimize networking services including VPCs, security groups, subnets, and routing.
- Implement and maintain compute, storage, and serverless services following security and performance best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues using logs, monitoring tools, and incident management processes.
- Automate workflows and develop tools to improve deployment efficiency, infrastructure monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and develop Python scripts to improve system performance.
- Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements for data security and privacy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate product requirements into technical solutions and document infrastructure processes and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, deploying and maintaining solutions in cloud environments
- Strong experience with AWS (compute, storage, serverless services, networking like VPCs, subnets, and security groups)
- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD and GitHub Actions
- Deep understanding of networking configuration (VPCs, subnets, security groups, routing)
- Proficient in Python and SQL (scripting and querying)
- Strong version control experience with Git
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, incident management, and troubleshooting practices
- Understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance requirements
- Focus on clear, effective documentation of technical work
- Ability to deliver and own quality outputs under time pressure; results-oriented and team-focused
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Work authorization to be hired by Parser in UK, Spain, or Portugal without a sponsor
- Willingness/ability to travel (Spain/Portugal candidates: one 3-day trip per month to UK client site)
