About the role
- (Senior) Consultant specializing in Verkehrsinfrastruktur and Mobility, driving infrastructure modernization projects in a hybrid role in Germany. Supporting clients in improving civilian transport systems.
Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion, digitalization and resilience of civilian transport infrastructure.
- Advise and support operators and public clients/authorities in transport infrastructure projects.
- Lead (sub-)projects end-to-end — from requirements and stakeholder management to go-live.
- Support procurement processes as well as planning and approval stages.
- Establish PMO structures, reporting and quality gates for multi-project setups.
- Further develop consulting services for civilian critical transport infrastructures (e.g., ETCS/Digital Rail, accessibility, climate adaptation/resilience).
Requirements
- Experience in civilian transport infrastructure (rail infrastructure, road construction, public transport), e.g., with consultancies, operators, authorities, construction or technology companies.
- Project DNA with a demonstrable track record in projects/(sub-)project control, PO/PMO — ideally in network expansion, renewal, electrification or traffic/transport management.
- Innovation-driven, execution-oriented with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Completed degree (e.g., civil/transport/industrial engineering, computer science, business or natural sciences) or an equivalent qualification.
