Contribute to the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design
Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams
Provide technical advice, direction, and overview of the day-to-day delivery of urban development engineering designs
Manage selected designs and teams to develop and implement the highest level of technical delivery through effective review process
Build effective and enduring relationships with other teams and technical disciplines, and external organisations
Manage subconsultants, quality assurance, client feedback and ensure effective communication of changes
Technical quality assurance and report writing
Build and consolidate networks within the industry
Requirements
Relevant degree (Civil Engineering preferred) recognised by a relevant Industry Association or Institute – Chartered professional status, or equivalent and a post graduate qualification will be highly regarded
Extensive industry experience (minimum seven years) including overseeing the engineering aspects of a project, application of standards and technical knowledge within the NSW urban development market
Ability to provide technical expertise and direction through consultative support and effective communication to the teams
Ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop large to medium scale, diverse project teams
Experience of working in multi-discipline teams and/or project teams on major complex projects across a range of market sectors
Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally.
