About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, multi-tenant backend services for booking and airline system integrations
- Work closely with the Group Architect to ensure sound architectural decisions, system cohesion, and performance
- Independently research and understand complex backend protocols and documentation in aviation and passenger service systems
- Build resilient, production-grade APIs and services that interact with third-party and proprietary airline systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and QA to deliver reliable, secure, and maintainable software
- Own the full lifecycle of services, from design through deployment and monitoring
- Help shape and evolve backend engineering best practices in a high-performance team
- Hands-on development and system design responsibilities for airline operations at scale
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience in B2B SaaS or cloud-native environments
- Proven experience designing and building microservices-based architectures
- Solid understanding of Clean Code and SOLID principles
- Passion for system design and building distributed, high-availability systems
- Self-driven learner who actively explores new domains through documentation, specs, and experimentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Tech stack experience: PHP, Redis, MSSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD with modern pipelines, AWS cloud services, Git
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ASP Classic - advantage
