About the role

Responsibilities
- Participate in team ceremonies: retrospectives, scrum, grooming sessions, 3 Amigos, demos, sprint planning, etc.
- Accurately fill in the "Time Remaining" and "Time Spent" fields on JIRA tasks and close them.
- Break down large tasks into smaller, manageable tasks.
- Design and implement technical solutions for assigned tasks in accordance with specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Validate the task breakdown with the lead developer.
- Commit to delivering work within estimates (understand the purpose of estimations).
- Provide continuous visibility to the team about blockers, issues, and deviations from estimates.
- Update parts of the technical documentation to keep it current and accurate (supervised by the lead developer or architect).
- Test acceptance criteria in a viable environment before inviting QA to validate prior to final merge. Not applicable to automation developers.
- Help define and properly apply working methodologies (DoD, ceremonies, collaboration, conventions) and commit to following and improving them within the team (inspect and adapt).
- Collaborate with the UX designer to understand, validate, and communicate mockup changes.
- Submit work for peer reviews and participate in reviewing teammates' code.
- Consider security, stability, and maintainability risks of the project.
Requirements
- University degree or college diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in JavaScript.
- Proficient in .NET Core.
- Proficient in React.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience optimizing front-end performance.
- Experience with accessibility standards.
- Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Experience with Microsoft B2C is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and resourceful.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
