About the role

  • Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
  • Efficiently collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivity
  • Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and engage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
  • Eliminate roadblocks and hindrances preventing teams from delivering software
  • Assist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practices during acceptance testing cycles; perform testing with thoroughness and great attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members on all project-related testing, help to develop team UI QA standards, and communicate effectively across the organization to adhere to stringent timelines
  • Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not compromised
  • Review and provide feedback on test scripts; coordinate testing with additional team members as needed
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Appian designs
  • Develop custom Appian solutions using Appian BPM software
  • Integrate Appian applications with other systems and databases
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot Appian applications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Appian applications
  • Stay updated on the latest Appian features and functionalities to enhance the performance of applications

Requirements

  • Appian BPM, Application Development, Software Projects
  • 5+ years of Appian development experience (must have)
  • 10+ years experience preferred
  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified
  • Experience in Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations
  • Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures
  • Experience with integrations with external systems
  • Ability to scope Appian Projects
  • Experience owning project backlog, schedule and ensuring project team delivers high quality work consistently and on time
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field (required)
  • Must have resided in the US for 3+ years
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust (NACI (T1))
  • Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot Appian applications
