About the role
- Join Axpo's Trading & Sales Web Development Team to build solutions that power the energy markets and client base
- Develop and maintain complex Angular applications, implementing advanced Angular features and best practices
- Implement and maintain reactive state management (ngrx or similar) across applications
- Profile and optimise application performance (heap analysis, Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, CLS)
- Transform a mature codebase into a fully responsive, cross-device experience
- Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams, follow advanced Git workflows, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate with backend systems and work on interceptors, routing strategies, and custom directives
- Occasionally travel to the headquarters in Baden, AG, Switzerland for meetings and collaboration
- Contribute to a culture of professional growth, creativity, and innovation
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Angular, including Change Detection, Content Projection, Zones, Interceptors & Backends, Route-Reuse, Custom Directives, Injection, Signals, and RxJS best practices
- Extensive web development knowledge: Browser APIs, security concerns, native JS/TS nuances, CSS/SASS, and HTML5 mastery
- Solid understanding of reactive state management (ngrx or similar Redux patterns)
- Performance debugging skills: profiling, heap analysis, detached elements, Lighthouse reports, Core Web Vitals, cumulative layout shifts (CLS), and proficiency with DevTools
- Experience making mature codebases responsive and cross-device compatible
- Advanced Git workflows familiarity; adherence to conventional commits and semantic versioning
- Proven experience in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
- Fluent, professional-level English (95% of communication is in English)
- Occasional travel to Axpo headquarters in Baden, AG, Switzerland
- Nice-to-haves: Azure DevOps experience, CI/CD pipeline design/maintenance (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins), Design Systems and Native JS Web Components experience, React 18+ exposure, D3.js or similar data-visualization experience
