About the role

  • Security Infrastructure Support Architect leading technical teams in cybersecurity for True Zero Technologies. Focused on security engineering and managing technical guidance across various environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical teams, manage projects, technical risk analysis, and provide technical guidance.
  • Demonstrate leadership in incident response, POA&M resolution, and continuous monitoring.
  • Ability to develop SOPs, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Proven experience engaging with Federal leadership, Cybersecurity Operations Centers (CSOC), and compliance offices.
  • Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years focused on security engineering and 5+ experience in a lead or management role.
  • PMP is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field experience preferred.
  • Experience with overseeing a hybrid infrastructure (on-prem and cloud) environment.
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills in explaining complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as executive-level reporting.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with cloud security concepts, services, and operations (AWS, Azure, O365) including migration, security hardening, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including secure code and automation is incorporated into the build, test, and deployment process for security operations.
  • Managing a variety of enterprise cybersecurity tools including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms across a hybrid environment
  • Experience integrating data pipeline solutions with SIEM platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-92, OMB M-21-31, CDM).
  • Strong background in infrastructure management: Windows/Linux servers, patching, vulnerability remediation, network appliances, and endpoint security.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for identifying and addressing security issues
  • Demonstrated leadership in incident response, POA&M resolution, and continuous monitoring.
  • Ability to develop SOPs, performance metrics, and reporting mechanisms aligned with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Proven experience engaging with Federal leadership, Cybersecurity Operations Centers (CSOC), and compliance offices.
