About the role
- Security Engineer focusing on Data Loss Prevention at Freddie Mac. Supporting the protection of Freddie Mac data and enhancing DLP program coverage and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define new and enhance existing policies/rules to continuously increase DLP program coverage via multiple detection technologies
- Provide creative solutions to support the maintenance and advancement of an effective DLP program
- Build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners and vendors to formulate DLP solutions for Freddie Mac
- Define metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency of the program and support reporting needs across the organization
- Support DLP team members in daily operations
- Partner with required stakeholders to remediate DLP design, process, and technology gaps
- Engage with risk functions across the organization and Internal Audit to represent and support the DLP team when required
Requirements
- 2+ years of DLP and/or Information Security experience
- DLP policy/rule configuration experience in various tools
- Experience working with Splunk
- Certifications relevant to the Cyber Security industry (desired)
